PTS Manual
PTS Chapter
Chapter Member Sol Angélica Muñiz collaborated with the Panamerican Trauma Society (PTS) to develop and publish the first trauma injury nursing manual for nurses from Central and South America and the Caribbean. This is a major milestone as there is a lack of trauma injury resources for nurses in these countries. The manual has been released in Portuguese and will also be translated into Spanish and English. Ms. Muñiz wrote Chapter 17: Trauma Program Manager, which focuses on the history of the trauma nurse and trauma program manager role.
Not in Picture: Sarah MunozNew Jersey Chapter members, Suleima Rosario-Diaz, Gina Miranda-Diaz and Sarah Munoz, participated in a flu clinic in the Town of West New York where nearly 150 children were vaccinated. It was our pleasure to be present and part of such an important community intervention.
